View in browser SELF-PROPELLED AERIAL WORK PLATFORMS  ­ ­ A self-propelled platform with vertical outriggers ­ These models can travel with the boom fully raised when operating on level ground. For sloping or uneven ground, they are equipped with hydraulic outriggers that allow the machine to be levelled and the boom to be raised safely, without having to use a larger machine with a greater working height. Travel with the platform raised ­ This is an important advantage, as the outriggers are not always required to raise the boom. It is particularly useful for industrial installation work, as the platform can travel without having to lower the boom.
